BSNL's 4G Services Will Be Launched From December, Where Will It Be Launched First?

BSNL's 4G services are going to start soon. This service was awaited for a long time and news was continuously coming about the plans for its launch. Now BSNL CMD PK Purwar himself talked about the launch of the services in a special conversation with CNBC Awaaz. Our correspondent Aseem Manchanda spoke to him.

When will the 4G service start?

CMD has informed us that BSNL's 4G services will be launched in December this year. First of all these services will be started in Punjab. According to him, more than 200 sites have been successfully tested so far. At the same time, he has informed us that BSNL is moving ahead with the target of starting its services across India by June 2024. BSNL's network is completely indigenous. BSNL has given a tender to TCS and Tejas for the services. Amidst the discussions about 5G, CMD has informed us that BSNL's network is completely ready for 5G. This means that the company can start 5G services in the coming time.

BSNL emphasis on indigenous in IMC

BSNL also has a pavilion in the 7th session of the Indian Mobile Congress in Delhi, on which the emphasis is on indigenization. The focus in the pavilion has been on Swadeshi and self-reliance. The focus of the pavilion is also on Bharat Fiber Service. According to BSNL, Fiber to the Home service will provide high-speed internet, various content options, and many advanced features.
