The SUVs Of This Company Created A Ruckus! 2.86 Lakh Orders Pending a backlog Of 1.19 Lakh Orders Of This Model
The demand for SUVs from indigenous companies remains high in the country. The company has a backlog of 2.86 lakh orders. For the last several months, the number of bookings with the company has remained above 2.5 lakh. Because of this, the number of pending orders is increasing instead of decreasing. We are talking about Mahindra & Mahindra. The demand for almost all the models of this local company is increasing. The customers are crazy about Scorpio, Thar, and XUV700.
Mahindra has the highest pending orders of more than 1.19 lakh for Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N. At the same time, there is a backlog of 76,000 units of Thar. 70,000 units of XUV700 are pending. The company's second-best-selling Bolero SUV has 11,000 bookings pending. At the same time, more than 10,000 orders for XUV300 and XUV400 are pending. The company has also increased production at its plant to fulfill the pending orders of these vehicles.
Mahindra has had excellent growth in the festive season. In the last month i.e. October, total vehicle sales increased by 32% year-on-year to 80,679 units. Whereas in October 2022 this figure was 61,114 units. At the same time, the supply of utility vehicles increased by 36% on an annual basis to 43,708 units. Whereas in the same period a year ago it was 32,226 units. The company said in a statement that October saw the best monthly sales of both sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and commercial vehicles.
