Tata Safari facelift is beating Land Rover in terms of features and safety features, while in terms of strength, it is beating Tank. In terms of passenger safety, the crash test rating of this car has also been revealed.

With time, these companies are making changes in their cars by upgrading their features, design, and look. In this connection, many facelift car models have been introduced in recent times. When we are talking about facelifted cars and not taking the name of Tata, it seems redundant. Tata Motors has recently launched facelift variants of models like Nexon, Tigor, Altroz, Harrier, etc. in the market. But, here we are talking about the Tata Safari facelift car.


On which platform is the Tata Safari facelift being built?


Tata Safari facelift is beating Land Rover in terms of features and safety features, while in terms of strength, it is beating Tank. In terms of passenger safety, the crash test rating of this car has also been revealed. Tata Motors is building this new facelift car on the OMEGAR platform based on Land Rover's D8 platform. This platform is very popular for its excellent quality and strength. Impact Design 2.0 architecture is being used to make this car. The same design platform has also been used in Tata Harrier. Because of this platform, the new Safari has been successful in getting a 5-star rating in the NCAP crash test.


Features of Tata Safari are different from most


The Safari facelift car is a premium car in the lineup of Tata Motors. For this reason, many such features have been given in it. These features are not visible in any other car. Tata Motors has equipped it with features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, and a wireless phone charger. Apart from this, a panoramic sunroof ventilated front and rear seats (only in the 6-seater version), air purifier, and 6-way powered driver seat with memory are also available.


Seven airbags in Safari facelift


In terms of passenger safety, the Safari facelift has been provided with features like 7 airbags (6 airbags as standard), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist, 360-degree camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Cruise Control. Apart from this, the company has also provided an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite in which safety features like lane departure warning, blind spot detection, and auto emergency braking have been provided. Overall, the company has not reduced the safety features of Safari.


Tata Safari facelift engines


Tata Safari facelift comes with a 2.0-litre diesel engine as before, which generates power of 170 PS and torque of 350 Nm. The engine is available with the option of a 6-speed manual and an automatic torque converter unit. There are plans to launch the new Safari with a 1.5-liter diesel engine around 2024. Tata Motors has launched the new Safari at a starting price of Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of its top model has been fixed at Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
