It will be interesting to see what name Toyota chooses for the small Land Cruiser. Earlier there was speculation about the name 'Land Hopper'. However, it became a three-wheeled electric bike concept. Other names include variants such as FJ Cruiser or FC Cruiser. Another name that makes sense is 'compact cruiser'. It was earlier associated with the EV concept.
What will the design be like?
The baby Land Cruiser may take design inspiration from the 2024 Land Cruiser as well as the compact Cruiser EV concept. It will have a boxy silhouette, featuring prominent bumpers, thick body cladding, and a tailgate-mounted spare tire.
Powertrain options
The smaller variant of the Land Cruiser will be available with ICE and hybrid powertrains. Later it can also be launched in a fully electric variant. Many engine options can be considered for this.
What will be the price?
The 2024 Land Cruiser will be available in the United States for around $55,000. In comparison, the smaller Land Cruiser can be offered in North America for around $30,000 to $35,000.
